It does work as an appetite suppressant. It will not cause CNS stimulation like ephedrine however. The effective dosage is a little strange though, I'd say try 120mg 2-3 times per day and see how that works, but you may need a 240mg dose 2-3 times per day? I guess it's all depending on the individual.

I've had a badly blocked sinus's this past week so I got some of this stuff and, being at home and board, decided to experiment a little. 210mg seemed to produce a mildly euphoric feeling which I've been able to reproduce twice since. Though, it should be mentioned that I'm also on bupropione @ 450mg e/d and I took the pseudoephedrine with caffeine and nicotine.

Of course, it could have been that I just felt relieved to have the pounding in my head reduced a tad. I'll have to try it agian when I'm rid of this damn head cold.
