Ok after reading and reading and more reading for the last week. I have made some choices and need some "Newbie" Help.

I am 34 years old 6" 270pnds and havent been on any kind of strict diet/work out regimen for over 12 years.

On June 12th of 2005 I have a class reunion coming up and I have decided to change my evil ways and get myself in shape for life.

My goal is in one year to lose 70pnds and look lean and healthy.

So far here is my choices so far:

Suppliments:
H.E.A.T stack
SeaThin
calcium/magnesium, b-complex, multi enzymes, vitamin c, and vitamin e
Whey protein
Fish oil tabs
PC Tech Extended Release (Casein/Milk)

Diet:

I am going to try TwinPeaks Carb Cycling Diet. Mostly I choose this because in theory I like how you are rewarding yourself once every 3 days. Also I doubt I could stand restricting my carbs every single day for a year straight or more. I lubz my carbs I guess you could say.

Training:

Here I have alot of questions being that I havent had a strict work out session in a very long time.

Would this type of workout session be feasable?

Mon- Olympic Hypertrophy Training
Tues- HIIT Cardio
Wed- Clean Cardio
Thur- Olympic Hypertrophy Training
Fri- HIIT Cardio
Sat- Clean Cardio
Sun- OFF

Also does anyone know of a good link that has actual pictures or diagrams of what each lifting tequnique is?

Like after reading the Clean Cardio article I kinda get the gist of what the technique is but a step by step picture would REALLY be helpful.

Also from my previous experience (10+ Years ago) shouldnt you work out more than one time a day? Shouldnt I be doing some kind of running in the mornings? Especially since I am going for pure weight loss during the beggining?

Also If I can manage to loose 70pnds in the first 6 months is it possible to change diets/training and try to bulk for 3 months and then do a extreme cutting for 3 months to try to look my absolute best in 1 years time?

Since I have alot of body fat also I am worried about my skin elasticity since I have been overweight for a long period of time, is there something I should be using to help this over the next year?

Does anyone know of any Computer programs that would help me track my Diet/Calorie/Fat/Protien intake?

I have already ordered my HEAT and SeaThin but I am I am planing on starting this life change Monday of next week. I have a really positive outlook on it and I am going to put every effort I have into it after reading some of the journels of some other people in my same situation.

ANY and all comments , help or advice people want to give are GREATLY excepted!!

Thank you in advance.

Okay, a few things.

Regarding the routine: too much cardio! Perform either HIIT or Clean Cardio, or switch it up. BUT, I'd keep cardio sessions to 3 days per week, and devote the other days to lifting. In terms of lifting, look into HST, or simply do something like:

Day 1,3 Pull (Back, Hamstrings, Biceps, Traps)
Day 2,4 Push (Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Quads, Calves)

I would begin by working out once per day, and split your sessions as you get more advanced. At this time I wouldnt perform cardio and lifting in one day--ease into it.

Vitamin E creams MIGHT help with skin elasticity, but other than that surgery is your only real option sad.gif

So something Like:

Thur: HIIT Cardio
Fri: Lifting
Sat: Clean Cardio
Sun: Lifting

Also was just doing some research on Stacking suppliments and HEAT + SeaThin doesnt seem to be listed as a Stack in this article. http://www.blackstarlabs.com/?articleID=12
