I've been thinking of starting to supplement Glucosamine. I don't have any severe joint problems, just a slight stiffness as a result of training. I've just thought it would help for general health and recovery. At 17, would there be any problems with taking Glucosamine? Is it unncessary?

Glucosamine is not only used to cure bad joints, it is used to prevent them. If you are feeling "achey" I would advise its use. Try it for a while, if the aches go, assume it is working.

the clinical dosages for people with actuall joint probs is 1500mg's. I think 2g;'s at most split up into 2 doses. I have used 1g a day for maintance along with something called MSM. This will also help maintain joint health as well as many other associated benefits..

roger that. Stack it with MSM and your joint aches will be gone in a month tops. It's good shit.
