Sorry if this is dumb. I was just wondering if the stress a methyl, or any drug for that matter, places on the liver is proportional to the dosage. Obviously 40mg/day of M1T is more harsh than 5 mg, but is it 8X as hard on the liver? I doubt that it works this way, but is it true as a general guideline, i.e. is it fair to say that 5mg/day of M1T is significantly more mild (almost twice) than 10mg, or is this something nobody really knows?

I should have put this in my original post, but one of the reasons I ask this is because many people don't like the idea of stacking methyls, concerned about their liver. I have no basis for assuming this, but it would seem to me that something like 5mg m1t and 6mg m4ohn/ day wouldn't be much worse, if not easier on the liver than 10mg/day of m1t.
Would low doses compensate for the simultaneous use of different drugs?
If anyone knows the answer, I'd really appreciate a response. I asked my doctor something like this and she gave me a circuitous line of BS that didn't even begin to answer the question.
