Whats the difference between 3-Acetyl-7-Oxo DHEA and 7-OXO-DHEA!
Tkarrde
Nothing--they are the same.

Judging by the thread title, I think I know your next question.

Answer: Ab-solved is site-specific, whereas Metacort acts more systemically (plus the A-trione).

I wasn't sure if the were completely the same, but now I will ask that question mers.

And thanx for the answer: Answer: Ab-solved is site-specific, whereas Metacort acts more systemically (plus the A-trione).

But why don't the same compounds work in the same way?

The active (3-Acetyl-7-Oxo DHEA / 7-OXO-DHEA) is the same, but the topical carrier is different for each product. The carrier for AB-Solved is designed to distribute the active locally (to the applied area). Whereas the carrier for MetaCort is designed to be taken up into the bloodstream and distribute the active(s) systemically.
