I just recently bought 3 bottles of sesathin, as i have 2 or 3 times before, and recieved it quite promptly.

Now, my problem is, i opened up one of the bottles, and used it just like i normally would, but the bottle im using tastes beyond rancid. I don't really notice anything until i swallow it, but after swallowing is perhaps the worst taste i have ever experienced in my life, it literally makes my stomach turn.

I can deal as long as i know it's not rancid, but having used it many times before and the very bland taste im used to leads me to believe something is wrong.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

I would send the 1 bottle back...try the others to check if heat may have caused the problem.

There has been discussion of this. The new batches taste like shit apparantly. Checkthe general questions forum, there was a lengthy thread about it in there.

FYI, the answer was that the sesamin content is constant, only the taste is different.

My Sesathin tastes like bottled bunghole too, but I just put it in a little milk and shoot the whole thing down. I don't even taste the stuff.

This issue should not affect efficiacy, but if the taste is unbearable, send an e-mail to orders@avantlabs.com to arrange for a replacement.

Definitely check your other bottles, as well, and refrdgerate them after opening.

i just ordered some last week and got it on saturday and it tastes fine to me (a little oily taste, but not too bad), and i actually really like the way it smells... i've only been taking it since sunday, but now i actually crave the taste (kinda). weird. but maybe it means my body needs it... i've read that if your body needs something/is deficient in something that it will smell good to you.

I've already used about 1/3 of the bottle... Is that still okay to exchange? And my wife has used maybe 1/4 of hers... I ordered a three pack, and I haven't opened the third bottle. I don't know if it tastes as horrible as the other two, lol. Should I exchange all three?

Par, what's the deal with refrigeration and SesaThin?

Is it necessary to refrigerate unopened bottles? Also, is it vital to refrigerate the opened bottles, or does refrigeration just improve the taste as noted in another thread?

Might as well check out the third bottle first, but you can return all of them.

I think the lecithin or the oil might getting oxidized -- much discussion on the other thread.

Most likely to be necessary after you have opened the bottle.

Also, just want to reitterate again that SesaThin needs to be shaken.

Otherwise, the oil and water separate, and the thin, golden oil will go to the top and the water will go to the bottom (and, of course, pure SesaThin will taste stronger than SesaThin plus 40% water emulsified by lecithin.

Obviously, this is not the issue for some of you guys, but i have received several e-mails from people who merely are not shaking it (and, there were several posts of this nature since day 1 of SesaThin)
