I am currently 18yrs old, 5'8 and around 14-15% bf. I have 1/2 bottle of absolved left and am using it.
I was hoping to try TP's carb cycling, but am not sure I have time for it. I'm often out of the house with friends, and trying to eat nothing but oatmeal, lean meats and fish oil caps might not bode well for impressing the ladies. Even so, I would still love to try and give it a go. This raises the question: on weekends, when my schedule is less regimented, how would you suggest me going out wth friends or even (gasp) drinking occasionally?
As I do all of this, I would simultaneously hope to gain as much strength as possible. A lot of wrestlers I know lose a ton of strength when they cut, but hopefully with this amount of time to lose 10lbs I can gain strength. I can work out Mon-Fri after-school at my HS fitness center.
My daytime schedule looks like:
630 - Wake up
700 - meal #1
1.5-2 cups oatmeal
1.5 scoops whey protein
730 - be at school
1130 - lunch
1 can tuna
almonds (varying amounts depending on bulking/cutting)
230 - school dismissal
245 - lift
drink 2:1 ratio carbs: protein malto/whey (or just whey if I'm dieting)
430 - pwo meal
same as breakfast (sometimes larger portion)
730 - family dinner
whatever mom cooks, usually I go protein+fat with meat and salad or green veggies
1100 - bedtime meal
low-carb high-protein leftovers (meat from dinner, almonds, walnuts, cottage cheese, whatever is lying around the kitchen)
I also snack on protein (lunch meats, leftovers, etc) throughout the day in my house. I don't count calories but eat more/less depending on how I feel and how the scale is changing. However, I realize that to lose this weight and be stronger I might have to.
Thanks for all of your help.
