QUOTE
dawza no, no one here is a fool! and I have never sad that. You made an ass out of yourself by assuming. A wise man once sad, "The only silly question is the one you didn't ask."
Well thank god we're actively differentiating then.
QUOTE
I have asked a simple question yet I received not a single worthy reply.
No. You did not ask a "simple question." I have been on this board several years--as a moderator in one permutation or another for several months; I have seen countless 'simple questions.' What you presented was a ridiculously tendentious that made a mockery of proper diction, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
That is why you did not recieve a single worthy reply.
QUOTE
Loki took no regard to the question and put his foolish 2 cents.
You should spend a little more time browsing boards before you a.) post there and b.) toss a wayward insult at a poster whose caliber of intelligence you are completely ignorant of.
I was being sarcastic. Chump. Responding in a manner that I "felt" the nature of your post warranted.
QUOTE
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something . . .Plato
Simply regurgitating Plato like some trained primate does not make you any less worthy to attempt to bear the weight of his powerful words. 'Fool' is a readily subjective categorization. Read a little Nietzsche. Or a little Plato. My "foolish 2 cents" says you have read neither, and likely couldn't read your way down the back of a cereal box. Here, would you like a dignified, intelligent answer?

Let me elaborate. what i mean: Lets say you are performing a Wide Grip Barbell Row are you able to say which muscle fibers you are working by feel and not by what you believe or conditioned to believe this exercise works. Or do just assume it targets the back and heave the Barbell up to your wait and going through the motions without feeling it?
For example (when I do Wide Grip Cable Rows I can specifically feel my inner trapezius fibers working more so then any other muscle fibers of the back, or when I perform Overhead DB Tricep Extensions I can specifically feel the fibers of the long head doing most of the work, thus from my feel I can conclude what each exercise primarily targets and with this knowledge I can design a workout plan to bring up weak muscles up or sertain fibers of those muscles.
1. You can only partially neurally detect & regulate motor-neuron firing in muscle-groups in response to adaptive repetitive strength exercises. To a certain extent, there is nothing wrong with training by 'feel' (many seasoned lifters do). However, to attempt to do so without first having a legitimate understanding of how certain muscles/muscle-groups fire in reponse to different tension stimulii from different angles/positions is like trying to write songs before you learn to play your instrument.
2. With the above said, simply 'bringing up' certain fibers/muscles (especially regarding hypertrophy and myrofibular size/density--in terms of maximal or certain-rep strength it's a little different) is folly if trying to do it based on "feel." It should be done based on a.) loading frequency & volume and b.) supplement/drug protocol (see Syntenhance).
And please refrain from any further piddly attempts to denegrate myself or any of my fellow peers/poster here at Avant. If you are looking to make yourself a more permanent posting presence around these parts, needlessly alienating board-veterans is not the best way to go about it. Once again--please refer to and actually read the board rules. Then come back and call me a fool if you wish...
