People here use it all the time, and have posted about it quite a bit.
Pretty lame spam attempt on your part. If you want to pimp your discount code just put it in your signature.

Dunno. It would be nice if we could get a code set up.

I just bought some MPI from proteinfactory.com, so we'll see how that is in comparison. If the chocolate is even decent it's a savings over TP.

Wasn't Protein Factory operating out of some animal feed supply store? Not sure if there's a difference between animal grade and those for human consumption though. I'd personally stick with TP if for no other reason than their great flavoring system.

True Protein beats protein factory for sure. Animal feed aside(its true) TPs flavoring and overall quality have been vastly superior IMHO.

I like chocolate and only use the MPI to make pudding, so if it's better than All The Whey (where I last got my MPI), it will be a win. If it's not so bueno, I get some TP MPI next time.
It's been said before that most places overprice their MPI, so I'm clearly looking for the best deal.

Let me know how the PF MPI is. FWIW, the TP MPI is probably the best I've used thus far.
I know a lot of people here are down on PF, but I used them for years with very little problems.

I was wondering. I buy just 10lbs of whey from ON for like $50. Am I missing something? From what I see trueprotein is more expensive. Can anyone fill me in on what Im not seeing?

The bonus of sites like TP and PF is the ability to create your own custom mixes. If you just want whey, it might very well be cheaper getting some of ON's (I'm not sure as I didn't check before posting, honestly). Plus, the BSL flavors are kick ass!

Oh alright. Ive never cared much about the taste. I just get plain vanilla so leaves no after taste.

People keep saying how great BSL flavors are, but I've twice bought their chocolate and twice found myself underwhelmed. It's not bad, but it's not giving me a raging hardon either.

I've ordered BSL chocolate from True protein roughly 10 times, and I'd say 6 out of those 10 times the flavor was extremely inconsistant, and downright nasty on one occasion. It tasted like a mixture of fruit punch and chocolate, needless to say I sent it back without a second thought. IME, it's a bit of a toss up, sure it's cheap, but if I'm paying extra for a premium flavor, I want it to taste like a fucking premium flavor every time.

This is the only one of their flavors that I was less than impressed with - but I like a very strong chocolate flavor. I just get vanilla and add cocoa powder.

It's always hard to judge another's taste buds. For instance, I LOVE the dymatize chocolate flavor, but for some it's too sweet.

Having just got my MPI from protein factory, here are a few things of note:
-It's definately MPI, as it has the chaulky wonderfulness that comes from being 80% micellar.
-I like that they ship it with the nutritional info of your protein mix; I couldn't get that from tp (had to guesstimate).
-Tastes better than the MPI I bought from allthewhey, though not as good as something like a dymatize chocolate. It's also instantized, so it mixes easy.
-It takes much less to make a good protein pudding.
-The packaging is better and resealable.
I'm happy so far, though next time I'd use something closer to a 60/40 blend to kill some of the casein chalkiness.

I dont know if you have been to TP since the site was redone, but for all powders, and custom mixes(mices?LOL) the nutrition facts are on the product info page. Im not 100% sure, but I believe you can print these out through the site.

Tell me then, where is the info on this, as it's what I ordered last time:
http://www.trueprotein.com/Product_Details...=31&pid=534It should be RIGHT THERE; I shouldn't have to dig anywhere else on the site to find out the nutrition info of a pre-mix solution.

I see what you mean. I've always done the custome mixes which shows you the nutrient profiles as you build.

I am trying to make a decent morning time "MRP" type mix. How about this?
FORMULA
Milk Protein Isolate 50%
Egg White Protein 25%
Micellar Casein 20%
Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) 5%

MPI's already 80% casein - you might want to just go with full MPI and nix the micellar.
I'd add in some sort of whey isolate. Amino levels in the AM are low, so it would be nice to have something in there to help jack them up quickly. Maybe something like:
MPI 40%
CFM whey isolate 30%
Egg white protein 25%
BCAA's 5%
If price is a consideration you can replace the CFM whey isolate with WPC, and the BCAA's with leucine.

Good point, I thought MPI was more like 50/50, whey/casein, so I wanted to add a little more casein to give in a slower absorption. When I have a 100% whey shake in the morning, I am hungry in an hour and a half.
Doesn't look like true protein has CFM whey isolate, so I may substitute for Microfiltrated whey. I think I read somewhere that Ion-Exchange isolation destroys the most protein factions (as compared to the other methods).

I ordered a big load from them.
The weightgainer stuff taste pretty good and the watermelon isolate also taste great.
The nighttime formula doesn't mix perfect but thats due to the type of protien used.
I know and trust Dante more than most internet names. But I do question if they really do mix in all that stuff -- since the end user would never know the difference. I order 90% isolate with 5% BCAA and 5% Glutamine peptides. Which is $$$$.
Like I said I trust Dante but has anybody tested it or actually watched them "custom" mix up an order.
