Full Version: DCP/Sesamin with AP not a good mix?

I recently purchased the AP+DCP stack from nutra planet and I was wondering since AP works by increasing the amount of GLUT4 in muscle in order to take up more nutrients would using something like dcp or sesathin be counter productive to this due to increased oxidation of glucose, thus preventing it from even getting the GLUT4 in the first place?

Actually DCP and sesamin oxidize fat, not glucose. And if my logic sort of works, you store glycogen in your muscles, and burn fat, perfect combo.

I'm going to start using WMS for my workouts soon. I currently use DCP with GTE with my major meals.

I thought they oxidized both? That would account for the low blood sugar people sometimes get on sesathin wouldn't it?

The hypo response is new to me. I have not heard of it before (doesn't mean anything, just that I haven't heard of it)...but there is quite of bit of info on Sesathin at Avant. I'll go check..

ah thanks, I was just reading that, I had remembered what spooky wrote about it, I forgot what par had said though. I guess I'll just experiment on myself and find out. Did they ever come to an accord on their opinions in regards to glucose utilization?

On a typical day I do the following:

Pre meal 1: 3 DCP
Pre meal 2: 3 DCP
Pre meal 3: 3 DCP
Pre workout: 1 Anabolic Pump (40-60g of carbs taken pre/during workout)
Pre meal 4: 3 DCP +1 Anabolic Pump
With meal 5: 2 caps Sesathin

It's been working just fine for me. If I end up eating something crappy I'll try to use DCP + Anabolic pump before eating, and then Sesathin with my meal.

So judging by your dosage schedule, all you eat is something crappy?

No... during normal (non-crappy) days I'll use DCP during the day, Anabolic Pump pre workout and with my post workout meal, and Sesathin before I go to bed. If I do end up eating something crappy I'll use DCP and Anabolic Pump before eating and Sesathin when I start my meal.

I'm following you dosing for my friday and saturday night meals, which are usually clean, though I'll have a beer or two and sometimes on saturdays random snackfood at a party.

How did Monday find you after the weekend with DCP?

DCP + SesaThin + AP would make for a kick ass cutter and no potential problems by my best estimation.

I always look a bit tighter in the morning and DCP did me well. I haven't put it through anything really "hard", but I did have 2 beers, a fair amount of cookies and brownies, some caramel popcorn, and some chips. However, nothing like the hurting I put on myself superbowl sunday (where I consumed ~4000kcal in a couple hours), which the DCP mitigated nicely.

You can cut by eating more calories from carbohydrates than previously possible..you know like dieting without dieting! ooooooo combo sale!
