I've seen Werdum fight, he's good. Not good enough to beat Fedor or big Nog, but he's very competent. Should be a good fight. I think Verdum will take it but you never know...

I've never seen Werdum fight, I don't think.
What are his strengths? How do you see this fight going exactly?

Werdum is a bjj black belt and obviously has a good ground game. His stand up is decent too and he is comparable to big Nog. Probably can't withstand the damage Nog can but otherwise similar skill set and styles. He also trains or trained with Crocop helping Mirko improve on the ground. Easily a top 10 HW and he should give Arlovski a run for his money. I see him taking it to the ground and going for a sub. I'll give Arlovski the slight edge though because of his UFC/cage experience.

Werdum is going to win.
Dude, this place needs a fight betting forum..

I'd love to have betting here but I'm not sure if it's legal.
Anyone know the laws on that kind of thing?

Pretty sure if we kept it sort of "friendly" and low key and didn't have 1000's being bet, it could be done.
Just like one thread and pretty much your name/honor on the site at stake if you fail to pay up.
Also, a post count minimum of like three hundred.
Just suggestions.
My money's on Werdum.

Oh yeah, the other good thing about Werdum is he is a pretty tall dude and he is in GOOD shape. This will be a tough fight for Arlovski, but I have a feeling Werdum might win it. I wouldn't be too surprised if Arlovski won though, I mean, he IS very good as well. Werdum's boxing is not bad though, he gave Kharitonov a run for his money in the stand up department.

Another good fight to see would be Werdum/Crocop. Werdum's stand up could keep Crocop from finishing with strikes long enough to somehow get to the ground and work his Jiu-Jitsu magic on Crocop. However, as we have seen in the Open Weight GP finals, if Crocop is focused, he can overcome anything.

When is this fight, anyway? Next UFC?

UFC 70 I think??
Side note, While Werdum and Crocop have trained together and may still do so, they would probably fight for the right $.
