i think the halflife is - forever.
I really hope some more research is done on this stuff soon in regards to this. The reason TTA works is that it is a fatty acid that can't be broken down, it's unbreakable, so your body fights like hell to burn it up but it can't. That's great for an increase in fat burning. I still dont know if that's all that good for the overall integrity of your body as a system. I think slowly but surely your kidneys excrete the stuff or something. I hope something gets rid of it eventually.
If someone has more knowledge I would love to hear it but the research on TTA out there is very scarce.

I think it is the liver that would have trouble (eventually), more than the kidneys anyway.

There's plenty of stuff you can't digest that gets eliminated from your body. There's certainly a lack of data on this for TTA, but I'm not really sure that's an argument either way. Obviously, if you want to be safe, wait until there is high-quality human research done.

In the pig model it takes 4 weeks cessation for only trace amounts to be left, and by 6 weeks it had all but gone.
