This is the label on the back of the fish oil I picked up:

DHA (Docosahexaenic Acid) - 625mg 14%
EPA (Eicosapentoenoic Acid) - 410mg 9%
Other Omega-3's - 225mg 5%

What exactly does "other omega-3's" consist of? LA?

here's a list:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_omega-3_fatty_acids

α-Linolenic acid (ALA)
Stearidonic acid
Eicosatetraenoic acid
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)
Docosapentaenoic acid
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

IIRC, ALA comes from plant sources (flax) and for some reason I want to beleive its just the EPA, DHA and the two others in the list that have similiar names that are found in your fish oil caps

α-linolenic acid is the only other thing it can be (right? - I hate easy questions...the fear of getting them wrong is brutal dry.gif ).

Try asking them laugh.gif This seems like something I ought to know. I just never thought about it before.
