Full Version: Lipoderm + clen: how much of a deficit?

I've been seeing solid results using transdermal clen in Lipoderm-U with a deficit of ~750 cals/day, but I've reached a point where I'm starting to lose LBM and strength. It's been recommended to have a 500-1000 cal deficit when using the Lipoderms, but could I still get continued results with lipo+clen if I bumped my calories up to a ~300-200 cal deficit? Would it help in this case to apply it before sleeping (it doesn't keep me up) and do fasted cardio upon waking to oxidize the freed FFAs?

The majority of these FFA's that Lipoderm will help liberate are oxidized during your slumber. However, you wouldn't be doing yourself or the product an injustice by implementing this protocol. If your struggling to maintain LBM, but wish to cut more weight, I'd advice modifying your diet and routine to have a few days a week hypercaloric (training days) and the majority hypo (off, or cardio days with regular Lipoderm-Ultra applications).

Thanks. I'm still not sure if topical clen's synergy with lipoderm could allow a more modest deficit, though. I understand having a deficit in the weekly caloric balance is important for long-term bodyfat loss. But since lipoderm liberates fats locally and more acutely than the whole body will when hypocaloric, could the size of the day-to-day deficit when using the lipoderm be more relevant? So say you have 4 hypercaloric training days (maybe 200-300 above maintenance) and 3 days at a 500-700 deficit with lipoderm. The weekly balance could end up at maintenance but probably slightly below. Would the lipoderm still deliver similar results to a ~300x7day deficit, or would the FFA just get redeposited on the hypercaloric days?
