What is used to make these capsules enteric? I'm assuming its a cellulose, but they look like normal caps to me.

Is it normal for there to be some extra oil in the bottle? All 3 of mine came this way.

For those interested, I recently finished a course of Clarithromycin, which in an antibiotic that slaughters intestinal flora as a side effect. So, I've purchased 3 bottles of Gut Health and will likely use 3 caps a day for the first week. Without going into detail, I've been having digestive issues as a result of the antibiotics. I will share my opinion on it's effectiveness for this purpose.

unsure.gif Just read on the bottle that it's vegetable cellulose. I guess I was expecting a different type of enteric capsule.

I will verify this tomorrow for you.

My digestion improved dramatically while taking Gut Health for a week at 3 caps/day. It's impossible for me to say how much of it was due to Gut Health, but I'm happy with where I'm at.

I let a cap sit in lemon juice to see if it would survive the stomach, and it lasted over two hours. It may or may not make it into the duodenum intact based on my observations. I think a sealed capsule would be better than the pop-on type being used.

Glad to hear it. You might be able to get away with a lower dosage to save $ and see if it continues to work as it does now.
