Sorry for the bad quality, my parents went on vacation and took the good camera.

I got the soap on August 31 and it had been sitting in my mailbox for a few hours in the 102*F Arizona heat so I’m not exactly sure if this is how it’s supposed to look like. The smell on the other hand is great. I left it in my room for a few hours and when I came back the whole room smelt like the soap.

I would like to thank dsade for picking me as a tester. As I said earlier, I will purchase another bar if I see it is doing a great job.

Hey Muzi!! Can't wait to see how this goes for you.

Are you using it for stretchmarks, or for pure vanity reasons? smile.gif

I have the usual stretchmarks on my shoulders/biceps from my dirty bulking days and I was looking for a good exfoliator for my face. The thing I really liked about java lather was that there were no artifical ingredients which I see in alot of products.

Since I live in Arizona I really need to take care of my skin and this looked like a great product to try out and report to the bb community. The only problem is it costs ~$4 + shipping for 1 bar but we will see how it goes.

I will try to get my log started tomorrow... promise. smile.gif

Can't wait to see how your log goes. That Arizona sun is a scorcher, stopped there on a layover once.

So my first update before I get going out. I can't seem to find my regular camera (it's buried somewhere under piles of clothes) but I do have my cellphone... I just don't know how to change the field of vision to get details of the stretch marks. I'll just have to be a bit descriptive as to what's in the pics.

I haven't used the java lather yet so these are the before pics.

The face:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/muzi/0904071337.jpg

I've been looking for a good exfoliator and the previous one I used just tore up my face. I dunno if you can see it but I'm starting to get those smile lines and my skin is red around there because regular soap just tears it up.

The left shoulder:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/muzi/0904071330.jpg

There are multiple stretch marks which are red from me being my fatER days. I saw pics of the results other people have recieved and would like to hopefully have the redness go away and hopefully have them blend into my skin tone.

The right shoulder:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/muzi/0904071329.jpg

(Don't mind the hairy chest, it's there for a reason smile.gif )

The left arm:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/muzi/0904071336b.jpg

My left arm has the worst stretch marks. There are numerous stretch marks but they sort of blend into the skin... hopfully the ones of my shoulder will become less obsene like these ones or even better.

The friend taking a nap:

I had no idea...

I should be able to find my camera by my next update and my first use of Java Lather will be tonight.

Looks like your friend has some stretch marks on his tongue...time to wash his mouth out?

Hard to see your stretch marks...if you don't mind, some before pix with the GOOD camera are much appreciated.

I do see enough to realize that you are a great candidate for JL, and excited to hear your feedback.

I'm sure this has been said before but java lather REALLY lathers up, you don't need much to get a nice coat of soap on your and once you wipe off you can definately feel your skin doesnt feel dry but smooth (not oily mind you).

These pictures were taken after 2 uses of java lather.

Next Update: Sept 13

Is that a garter belt hanging from your bathroom door? Will the next pictures be taken in drag? smile.gif

MUCH easier to see the marks on your shoulders. Definitely should be able to see progress there.

Hey guys, sorry I wasn't able to update earlier. I had a uber huge ochem test then I had some weird allergic reaction to a new shaving cream I used (I've never had an allergic reaction before in my entire life.)

Currently I'm on day 12 right now and the bar is running out so I'm doing to pick up 1-2 more and keep logging.

Here are the updated pictures:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v477/muz...r9/000_0006.jpg

Most of the stretch marks around my shoulders seem to be blending in more but they are still as deep as before. My skin also seems a bit more tanner (not darker). The ones around my bicep/elbow don't show as much improvement but they are much deeper.

Also I was looking at the new liquid Java Lather and saw this:

Ingredients: Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Xanthan Gum, Olive Oil Soap, Shea Butter, 100% Arabica Coffee, Sesamin Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Cissus Quadrangularis 50%, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Magnesium Chloride & Magnesium Nitrate, Latte, Honey, and Almond fragarance.

What's with the parabens?

We use an extremely low concentration of parabens as a preservative.

Did you use the Java on the spot you had the reaction? I had a reaction to a topical i used and found that the Java healed it much quicker then normal.

I've been afraid to put anything on my face lately but it seems like it could work. I'll give it a try when I get it in the mail.

I'm the same way with my face but I have used the Java with no problems. Let me know how it goes!

Holy crap I need to update more, it's been 10 days already! I ordered 2 more bars.

Well here's what happened. I had my allergic reaction and my face turned red. I used java lather for 3-4 days and it definately started making my face look normal until on the 4th day I woke up and my face looked like hell. My cheeks felt like plastic so I couldn't smile or fully open my mouth to eat and later on the skin cracked open. It ended up getting pretty bad so I had to get a few shots and be on prednisone for a few days.

I have no known allergies and this is the first time something like that has ever happened. I doubt it was the java lather and most likely the new shaving cream I used. Had my reaction not been so bad I totally think JL would have fixed up my face.

I'll have update pics tomorrow.

Also I've been using a washcloth this whole time and I'm wondering if any other testers have found other methods to be more effective?
asianbabe
I have tried it with a loofah, and exfoliating gloves. A big body brush or spongee could work too.
looking forward to seeing the updated pics biggrin.gif, sorry to hear your skin had a bad reaction, my skin is really sensitive as well, so I have to be very careful to use products that do not cause reactions. Hope it gets better soon.
Kimbo
I don't get the same exfoliating effects unless I apply the bar directly to my skin. So what I do is rub the bar directly on the areas that need it, and then I use a wash cloth or my hands to rub the lather around to other parts of my body.

Well a quick run down of what has happened in the past 2 1/2 weeks.

My allergic reaction got worse so I ended up seeing a dermatologist. Got a biopsy done and the results said "dermatitis" (which doesn't help) from something I put/got on my skin. Most likely this occured from me changing my shaving cream or getting something on me from ochem lab (which would make sense since it was localized around the cheeks and I wear goggle usually). From now I've been told not to put anything on my face and slowly re-introduce things I used before.

It could have been practically anything but I'm doubting it was the java lather for the reason that the reaction was localized to my cheeks and a portion of my chin. I had used java lather practically everywhere else.

I doubt any new pictures would help since I've been on hydrocortisone and prednisone.

I know this log turned out quite shitty but I'll probably end up buying a jar of that scar cream to use on my arms/legs and see how that goes.

Thanks for a great log and updating regularly regardless. Thanks MUZI.
