i was considering buying 3 bottles of HAVOC for the future. but i wouldnt be using them for a year or two. so my question is if they are stored in a cool, dark place (like my closet), how long would they last? they wouldnt sit in there for longer than 2-3 years fyi...

I put my bottle in the freezer just in case. Not sure if this helps or hurts though, as the potential for condensation/refreezing might be problematic.

It seems that most products of this nature last about two to three years if sealed and kept in a cool/dry/dark place (IE cabinet or drawer). I have been told that you can double that by simply vacuum sealing it and then tossing it in the freezer. If you can't vacuum seal your stash you might want to look into some freezer bags before throwing your stuff into the freezer...just a thought until RPN chimes in.

Just found this with a quick search, http://www.mindandmuscle.net/mindandmuscle....php?issueID=24 :

Storage

As they will be illegal U.S., residents are advised not to keep steroids after the ban. For others, heat, light, oxygen, and humidity will each contribute to the degradation of your goods. The best route will be to place your packaged (not loose) goods in a top-of-the-line ziplock freezer bag. I'd recommend that you remove all the air in the bag using a pump-vacuum sealer (Ebay).

You could also add oxygen and/or moisture absorbers before sealing the bag. Double-bagging and sealing could only help. Place your container in a deep-freeze. Obviously it would be intelligent to break down your stock into cycles prior to storage, so that you can thaw cycles one at a time.

How long will the compounds last? If you take all of the above precautions, I suspect no less than 4-5 years. Should the potency deteriorate, the compounds will still work for some time, however you might need a little more to do the same job.

For those of you fool enough to have steroids in your possession after January 20, you will want to get a copy of the excellent book, Legal Muscle: Anabolics in America by Rick Collins. He’ll explain further the threat of using illegal steroids in the United States, and why it’s not worth it.

Good advice, Stxnas...this is exactly what should be done as far as storage. They should last easily for 3 years. After that point, they wil not go "bad, but most likely gradually lose potency.

I've actually read on different occassions that unopened vacuumed sealed supps will last about ten years if thrown in the freezer...and like DSade said, there might be some degradation, but it will likely be minimal.

I've read a few studies regarding this with pharmaceutical companies and their products. The bottom line is that the exp. dates that are given are VERY generous as to their actual point of losing potency. I remember one study that had showed that if kept in stable conditions(cool dark enviroment no excessive moisture or humidity)many of the products retained 95% of their potency after almost 10 years! That's without freezing or vaccum sealing them. I'll see if i can find a few of the studies and post them up. Overall if you buy some havoc and you don't plan on using for a few years as long as you keep your supps in a stable environment you are definately good to go biggrin.gif
