you often hear the recommendation to cut out fat for morning and post workout meals as to increase (or not slowing down) the digesting of the meal to fight cortisol as soon as possible etc. etc..
how true is that? and how much do small amount of fats really slow down digesting?
i am wondering, since i drink a shake in the morning for bf as well as pwo, in the morning i usually add some flax seeds and fish oil, cause a shake is the best time/option to place them (and hide their taste). my pwo shakes consists of another dose of flax oil as well as oats, both meals come to a fat content of about 7-10g
should i cut the fat out as much as possible due to the reason mentioned before and place it onto the other meals or doesn't it matter?
anyway with flax, they contain fat which slows down digesting but on the other hand fiber which should improve it...?!

Marc McDougal will actually have some clients drop the typcial carb-laden breakfast, for a moderate fat/high protein one as a means to control cortisol. (We would need him to comment on this)
your breakfast seems fine to me, your post workout shake, I would drop that fat.

I believe the low carb breakfast is intended to preserve the natural cortisol rhythms, looking at the Big Picture of "healthy cortisol levels are necessary" instead of the every-popular Brotelligent "cortisol is catabolic and therefore bad."

Preserving natural cortisol rhythms. Sometimes I feel I have too high cortisol levels in the morning and things to address cortisol in the morning help me feel better. I don't know if I am doing damage by reducing morning cort.
