Full Version: Modified Epidrol Pulse Cycle

I've read all the arguments for and against pulsing and decided I want to try it if only to get 2 decent cycles out of a bottle.
However I have always thought it seemed like a waste to take it all right around your workout. So I will be taking it on my off days, when it can actually aid recovery/growth. I lift m/w/f so epidrol will be t/th/sat.
I am also going to spread the dosage out over the course of several hours instead of taking it all within a few hours. First dose with breakfast, last dose around 5pm.
Plan is 5 weeks 20/30/30/30/40. Post Cycle Support afterwards at regular dose for 4 weeks, or I may double dose the first week and 2 more weeks at regular dose. Clomid will be available as an absolute last resort.
Workout is madcow 5x5, currently on week 4.
Yesterday was first day at 20. This morning I weigh 221. Last time I had BF checked it was 22% and it has gone down from there but by how much I don't know. I have a gut and some chest flab.
Not going to do a detailed log but I will report any noteworthy events/ results for anyone interested.

I have had great results from my pulse cycles. I always pulsed the androgens on my workout days. Permanent results, no negative side effects. I will never run a chronic cyle again.

after 2 weeks I have gained .4 lbs. with no noticeable improvement in strength or body comp. So I'm bailing on the pulse method and doing the last 3 weks at 30mg ED.

Damn -- you sure your stuff isn't bunk? I would think that even the world's worst dosing protocol should give better results than that, unless you're a serious gearhead that's already way beyond your genetic setpoint...

I don't think I am anywhere near my genetic setpoint and have never done a cycle before. I hope the stuff isn't bunk. It's epidrol, which I chose because it seems to have good feedback, and has been tested to be the correct compound. Maybe I got a bad batch?

After a week of 30mg every day I am up..... 1 pound. I do "feel stronger" in the gym, but I am doing a strength-focused program so I think that's probably why. I have increased my calories "a little" but I am honestly not counting them. Also I think I look a little leaner and more muscular, but again this could be psychological? I would like to hear if anyone has an opinion on:
*do I just need to eat more?
*am I expecting too much from this compound?
*does the fact that I can't tell for sure if it's doing anything mean it's probably not?
*should I up the dosage?

Also thought about bridging into something else for the last two weeks. I have a bottle of epistane which I'm sure you know there are questions about, and a bottle of MDROL from the batch that people have speculated is bunk.


I don't mean to sound like I'm whining. I'm just a little disappointed that my first cycle is not giving me that HOLY SHIT effect I had hoped for.

Lots of companies severely underdose their products or do not obtain the right chemicals from their manufacturers.

Z Supps has posted our COA's here because we make sure to obtain only the best raws to use in our products. And Im quite sure Dsade does the same with Havoc.

After the initial 2 weeks of pulsing I did 10 days at 30mg and 10 days at 40mg.

*Gained 7lbs. in total and look noticeably leaner. I am very pleased with these results.

*Felt a little stronger but I think this is due more likely to my training.

*Libido has been high throughout cycle.

*Testicle size has not diminished. Semen volume has diminished somewhat.

*My shoulder joints are a little achy the last few days.

*Some acne but this is not rare for me and I don't attribute it to the epi necessarily

I think my initial disappointment was dose-dependent. I made appreciable gains on 30-40 mg ED so I would have needed to use a higher dosage when pulsing, and I'm afraid to do that to my liver.
Barring some disaster during PCT I will use this product again.

did you consider the possibility that you were recomping during the pulse and not just gaining weight?
(i.e. loosing fat while gaining muscle)?

as you have never done a cycle before it could be the case. as well as doing whcih sould be higher than regular chronic daily doses.

I take this to mean "as well as dosing which should be higher than regular chronic daily doses"

Anyway like I said I'm not comfortable taking 50-60 mg in one day, much less over the course of a few hours.

Regarding pulsing and liver toxicity, someone made an analogy to pulsing acetaminophen. I would never ever ever take that much acetaminophen in such a short time frame.

Since we don't have controlled studies proving it one way or another, I made a judgment call and decided to do a normal dose every day instead of a very high dose every other day.
