I received my picamilon from Cognitive Nutrition two nights ago.

The caps are white powder, and the bottle instructs us to take the picamilon with meals.

The first night night, I took 300mg right away (as I had just had a large meal). *complication* I had just finished a 20 oz Sammy (Winter edition) with dinner, so the alcohol must be factored in.

Anyway,
I felt really relaxed for the rest of the night, but not tired. It was odd -- I laid down to go to sleep several times, convinced that my state of relaxation meant that I was ready for bed, but each time laid there and realized that I wasn't really sleepy or tired... just very relaxed. As a weird note, my vision seems oddly acute (it's usually blurry late at night as my eyes fatigue).

Last night I took 300mg again. I felt calm, but not quite like the previous night (attribute to alcohol). Interestingly, some friends and my girlfriend came over to drink, but I had no desire at all to participate. I drank 1/4 of a beer, no more. I wonder if GABA interaction was already high enough to negate the necessity for alcohol. Probably just overanalysis though. I really didn't have much motivation to do much. Just relaxing and watching TV (first time I've sat through an entire TV show in... a year? Year and a half?) was just fine, I had no real desire to do much else.

Today I have a headache, which is odd, as I never get headaches. Perhaps a few times in a year, if that. I've also been urinating much more than usual without increased liquid intake, and I feel a little dehydrated (cotton mouth) but have no thirst, so I'm forcing down some water every few minutes.

A lot of that probably isn't involved at all, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Picamilon is an effective drug for alcoholism so it probably played some factor.
I'm the same way I never get headaches. You may want to start with a slightly lower dose for a few days.
It's used in urological practice for treatment of neurological disorders of urination but that would help rather than make it worse.

I dropped the dose to 200 mg tonight. The headache is still there, but only slightly. Still can't say it has anything to do with pica.

The calmness is there again, as is the visual acuity. I wonder if the relaxation is causing me to yawn more than usual, increasing my tear production and thereby improving my vision by adding an extra layer of refractory "film" over my contacts.

I'm pretty happy with the calming effects so far; I'll have to conduct a single blind experiment to see if I can differentiate b/t 2-300 mg pica and some creatine mono caps I have somewhere.

Also wondering if the pica is dulling my wit a little bit -- I don't feel very quick at the moment, but this could be to other factors of course. I'll try a lower dose in upcoming days to see if my dosage is just a little high.

I had the same effect..I thought I needed a nap while watching golf on tv yesterday...but never dozed off...it was weird...when I finally gave up, I got up to do some chores and in reality was wide awake.

Im keeping a running review in the bb.com review section if anyone cares dry.gif

Dashforce- can you update on the headaches? Im asking because the first day I didnt get any, but for the next two days after, I was getting pretty bad headaches. I didnt take any today, and no headaches.
dashforce
I have been trying lower doses and have had fewer, less serious headaches. Again, I'm not asserting that the pica is causing the headaches, still looking into it. The lower doses seem to be preferable to my "significant other," as I don't lose my social drive as much.

I don't recommend mixing drugs, of course...

But last night I drank 2 beers, took 150 mg picamilon, 750 mg phenibut, and a few hits off a really tiny piece (just barely enough to get me high) and I was incredibly talkative, euphoric, and just all around had a good time. Slept like a baby when I got home. Was exceptionally impressed at the high level of euphoria for relatively low level of intoxication, and no hang over today.

I do find alcohol and Picamilon to be an interesting combo.

Picamilon is a vasodilator which may in some people produce headaches. It increases blood flow to the brain. It's probably best to avoid other vasodilators when using it. Things like ginkgo or vinpocitine might be too much if used along with the picamilon.

I react very well to alcohol -- I am very pleasant and social, all around happy. But the effects of drunkenness kill me -- most of all, terrible sleep. I absolutely love the "buzz" of marijuana -- but the resulting stupor deters me, and I am quite prone to anxiety and paranoia.

The MJ last night, plus the anxiolytics (alcohol, pica, phenibut), made for a very good experience, great sleep, and I feel great today -- (note: could be in part due to phenibut's extended/next-day effects, discussed in several threads here).

If we could just get rid of this phenibut tolerance crap, this would be a great combo.

Enjoying the pica, and thanks again Steve.

BTW -- my sub-heading (I think it says "Thanks to") was going to say "Thanks to Cognitive Nutrition," but I went to check the promotion's thread to verify that it was indeed CN and not UN that had made the offer, and I forgot to finish the line.

Maxhealth -- thanks for the warning, I'll look into that.

Well, it's been a while since I posted... just haven't really seen striking effects between days that I dose (100-300 mg) and days that I don't.

I"ll start paying closer attention, as I have quite a bit left.

Are you taking it with phenibut? Also want dose of phenibut are you taking when you do?
dashforce
I didn't know I was supposed to dose with phen -- wouldn't that confound the results, as I already react well to Phen?

I'm also dosing frequently -- as least 150 mg EOD, sometimes 300 mg ED. Should I reduce this? I wouldn't want to take phen at this frequency for fear of tolerance issues...

Thanks for the input smile.gif

No you're right this should not be taken anywhere near phenibut. 150-450 mg daily cycled off weekends or EOD should be fine. Some people have taken up to 900 mg without any problems.

I'll take this weekend off and restart monday at 300mg and see how that does.
