Has anyone looked at this or tried it out.

It is supposed to enable you to lose 10 lbs of fat and gain 10 lbs of muscle.

According to Lyle McDonald this book is shockingly non-retarded... that sounds pretty good to me.

That is about as good of an endorsement from Lyle as you can get.

Anyone have any details on the program?

Haven't tried this but I've done Waterbury programs before and the man is far from retarded. I'd give it a go.

I'd say within shouting distance.
methodice
Marc if Lyle says Waterbury's 10/10 is non-retarded, then it's non-retarded.

I believe him to be one of the fat loss pros in your friends book: fat loss pros
Marc McDougal
I meant him in general, not this specific program.

Either way, it was friendly jabbing.
methodice
I know it's friendly mate. I really wanna read this book aye.... psst ask Jen.
Jinx Me
Read it, try it, and then report back on the level of retardation! biggrin.gif
methodice
No worries. I will do a retardation review complete with a star based rating.

I don't like his stuff. too much brotilligence mixed in with some showoff.
methodice
Yeh but I think this new book is supposed to be not like his retarded other stuff.

has anyone purchased the pdf so far?? how is it

im wondering if this is like Abs Diet "lose 25 pounds in 6 weeks" or a good read

I've had good results employing some of CW's ideas, like 10x3. That said, I've also found using 10x3 has been problematic. It was awesome for awhile, but has also periodically contributed to overtraining. Maybe that's been due to my own 'more is better' attitude, since I tend to add yet more volume to an already high volume program. Doing that many sets to get more volume at a higher weight, well it works, but you really have to watch that you don't overdo it as some of us are prone to do. If I'd been less focussed on finishing my sets I wouldn't have hurt myself on deadlifts in December.

What you copy and pasted isn't copyrighted material, is it?

have just downloaded and skimmed it...nothing spectacular really... i dont know if i am allowed to post an overview due to copy right, but its really not worth buying
methodice
You can post an overview I reckon.
ManuelW
well the "book" has just about 30 pages...

in a nutshell, you switch between 3-week-phases of cutting and bulking, shifting calories slightly in the one or the other direction, cutting out carbs while cutting and adding them in the form of fruits while bulking. training is always a full body routine, at a normal freuency while cutting and a very high frequency while bulking (aka his high frequency training). its really not worth buying, nothing you don't know and absolute no additional scientific insight... besides that, his food/meal plan is rather retarded...

OK one call for retarded, one for non-retarded.
