So I've been taking a low dose dnp cycle for a while, something I've done in the past and would still end up quite sweaty at night and warm after meals. I get this just a bit but it's waaaay less noticable. The only thing different I've been doing is taking beta alanine and I started thinking that perhaps beta alanine is preventing the "problem" that dnp creates in a sense. Does anyone know more about this?

ok since no one seems to be chiming in I will give my super-pseudo-scientific explanation for what might be going on here.
DNP works by messing with electrons and stuff, making our mitochondria have to work really hard. Beta-Alanine might be supplying that needed electron stuff thereby rendering the dnp ineffective at making the body inefficient.
Does anyone have anything they'd like to explore here?

http://www.mindandmuscle.net/forum/index.p...amp;hl=dnp+lokiThis thread led me to search for a thred I started on creatine/NO +DNP a while back and inadvertently saw (subsequently bumped) half a dozen or so threads in advanced hypothesis from back in the day.
I'm considering Blueprint (amagatine sulfate and r-ala) along with citrilline mallate to offset general leathargy/shittiness while on DNP.

DNP opens the hole for electrons, beta alanine jumps in and closes it? Nah I just made that up. It might just mask the feeling of heat rather than make it ineffective. Maybe DNP loses the feeling of heat over time if you keep your doses the same. Maybe you are eating less carbs with your meals.

seriously though, doesn't dnp do something with the electrons and doesn't carnosine (ba) donate a hydrogen ion to prevent muscular fatigue and stuff? I would actually like to keep taking ba for protection from age's, so if I'm wrong I'll keep moving forward.

There is someone on Lyles board....?Concillator or some name like that. He is their DNP guru, you might post over there.

Did you find and answer? BetaAlanine boosts cellular carnosine levels. Carnosine is a cellular buffer and so it could possibly ameliorate the fatigue associated with DNP use. There isn't anything you can take though that would dampen the thermogenic effects of DNP, and if there was then it would be pointless taking DNP.

Ok, that's what i was wondering about. All I know is my strength has been good and heat hasn't been as much a problem and the only thing I was doing differently is adding beta alanine. I was concerned it might have been undoing what dnp does.

I read Viator's article recently and yeah,DNP and BA are bad business.
BA raises ATP while DNP lowers it so taking BA is self defeating while on DNP.
It would be good between DNP runs though so ATP could be normalized.

Does BA do all that much for ATP? Wouldn't food do more?

See... I frickin knew it. Granted it's not that it didn't work at all but for the hell I went through in a month I shoulda been ripped like jesus. Ok so it wasn't that bad but you know...
