Full Version: Would this work for a body recomp?

I don't know if this should go here or the anabolics section, so if it's wrong here please move it for me.

Anyway I'm wondering if instead of bulking for 3-4 months then cutting for 3-4 months, one could bulk for a week or two then cut for an equal amount of time. Would this work? Or does it take the body a while to adjust from cutting to bulking and therefore waste more "in between" time than the traditional longer cycles?

I was also thinking of running some test and tren throughout (with maybe some t3 during the cutting phases).

As far as diet I'm thinking of just eating clean during both phases and only adjusting the amounts I'm eating when I go from one phase to the other.

Please don't flame if this has been covered a million times before, I thought to search but I don't really know what words to search for.

Thanks for any input/advice.

Sure many people use cyclic while others use linear dieting

How many cals are you looking at?

It is hard for some people to bulk when eating very clean non-cal dense foods. It depends on how many cals are required during the bulking phase.

If you consistently eat above maintenance you will gain weight and vice-versa

Average daily metabolic rate is determined by
REE, TEA, TEF

Well tbh I'm probably going to go as low as I can calorie-wise while still maintaining intensity in the gym. The test and tren will help me retain LBM for the most part. I don't mind losing a little bit of muscle if it helps me lose fat faster as I can put the weight back on fairly easily (I'm a meso-endo) afterwards.

Thanks for the reply.
