My forearms are to large compared to my biceps (insert masturbation joke).
I donīt use any direct forearm movements so this is the result of bicep and general gripping during various movements.
How do I hit the biceps while minimizing forearm involvment ?
Would limiting the ROM in scottcurls (using the top 80 % or so) help ?
Does the position of the wrists in biceps excercises matter ?

Hammer curls may be your best bet.

2 options:
1- Perform all of your curls with the wrist in a fully extended position. This overstretches the forearm flexors and almost eliminates contribution. The ROM is shortened at the top of the curl, so don't feel like you have to drive your elbow forward to complete the movement.
2- Static stretching of the forearm flexors before all bicep work.
Expect to reduce loads with both methods.

Marc - Perhaps a dumb question but How do i stretch the forearms without stretching the biceps ?
Benson - hammer curls as in neutral grip curls or Hammer curls as in the machine variety ?
I thought hammer curls were a "multi-flexor" ? movement ie you hit the biceps, forearms and the bra-spmething (sp?) - the muscle that supposedly makes the arm thicker equally.

I would also suggest utilizing exercises that place your biceps at a stretch, such as incline curls and spider curls.

small biceps, or small upper arms? because the way to bigger upper arms is to work the triceps. incessant curling is for fags, anyway.

Triceps are pretty good. The good damn forearms are huge and covered in veins- they belong on a guy 30 pounds heavier than me.

Would wrist straps (not wraps) help reduce the amount of forearm muscles used. Logic i am using is not having to use grip strength nearly as much therefore hopefully eliminating some forearm work. But, I could be in left field.

Intuitively, this makes sense to me, but I use straps on nearly every back exercise and my two best bodyparts are my back and forearms. I have no theory to explain this...

Try using the cables at a high position and stand like you are doing a front double bi then curl like that. I'm pretty sure that would eliminate most forearm work.
