Alright I started cutting with a High, low, (120g of carbs) no, low, no, diet pan that will make me lose weight I know how to cut but thats not the problem. I started doing a new workout for chest where you put the bench press about 3 ft infront of a flye machine so that front delts are completely eliminated from the exercise (mine are pretty strong). Problem is my chest has been sore for like 10 days I think I may have over stretched it or something. Now the remedy would be not working the muscle but, being I am cutting I am scared of not working it out because over time won't the muscle shrink in size a lot? I figured reduced calories. not working a muscle, death. I have been over training my chest for AWHILE now so maybe it won't actually shrink? Either way I'm not sure what to do...wait another 7 days and it it doesn't recover return to a regular diet, or just stop cutting and wait for it not to hurt anymore. This is pissing me off so much all I want to do is lose fat, and being my chest is small I don't really want to lose much size on it. The soreness isn't painful really its like I just worked out, but the strain is a little bit extra.

well you will always sacrifice some muscle if you cut...
i have problems imaging the exact exercise you were doing - can you describe that a bit better?!
i don't know how you train, but most workouts nowadays are centered around 2-factor-theory which means a period of progressive overload is followed by a period of deload or rest (in simple terms you (over)train for some weeks an then take it easy for some time) - science shows that there is a cummulative-effect regarding hypertrophy... this means basically that its not necessarily bad working out a sore muscle, just make a break from time to time if you feel your nervous system needs it...

Its an exercise christian thibadeau advocates for guys who have really strong front delts. Imagine lying down on a bench press that is positioned 3ft in front of a cable flye machine (meaning your head is 3ft in front of the center of the cable machine) It stretches your chest out better and completely removes the front delts from the exercise. Basically your arms are above you at a 45 degree angle, and you pull the cables together and complete the ROM by squeezing till your hands are over your sternum. It stretches your chest out like no other exercise I have done. Yes I know what you mean when you talk about the over train/deload principle and my chest has been getting killed for AWHILE now so maybe this deload (won't work it for 10 days) will be just what it needs to grow again anyway.

It may be wicked sore because you aren't supplying enough nutrients to allow for faster recovery. Remember when cutting just do 200-300 calories below maintenance. I notice that when I cut I am sore for longer, but more than 3-4 days means that you might need to start upping your calories.
