This is just general curiosity here.

1) What do you tend to prefer in general when on a cycle. What is your goal in terms of diet.

2) After all your experience thus far, how much do you believe a 2 month cycle will contribute to fat loss? Aren't androgens supposed to be the ultimate nutrient partitioner?

3) I know it all depends on goals and stuff, I know this. But honestly if you're lifting hard don't you feel like you deserve to indulge a little especially if the androgens are supposedly creating a hypermetabolic muscle building state?

4) For the anti-carb crowd, I suppose your answer would be to not drop calories, just ditch carbs. Cmon, now, wouldn't a nice piece of whole wheat toast with that egg white omellete in the morning just taste yummy!>?

5) When do you find that the returns start coming back more in fat than muscle?

6) Again to the low carbers - you would probably say just keep your carbs to after the workout. I notice before I workout I am usually low blood sugar and this really affects my workout. And drinking something like juice immediately prior DOESN'T seem to help me much. How do you ensure your workout is intense enough to reap the bennies of being juiced?

Again, this is all just beating a dead horse but I'm sincerely curious about how people feel these days about their diets during a cycle.

With something like IF can one really gain muscle and lose fat?

thoughts?

AAS have mot been as effective in reducing b/f (but I do look a bit more muscular) as they have been in wildly jacking up stregth and perceived effort to lift weights in general. However,a good deal of the reason my upcoming gyno reduction cycle is comprised mainly of masteron and proviron is the hardening/fat loss they should kick in with.

6)Stimulants pre w/o,throw in an ibuprofen to stave off headaches.

VC has gained muscle while dropping b/f,albeit at a slow pace, while on IF.Androgens would certainly accelerate and intensify this.

For a regular DJ Doe like yourself, I'd tell you to low-carb permanently and simply indulge on your carbs whenever you find it convenient*.
That should allow you to eat a bunch and not have to worry about calories and all that. For a good few months, at least.

If you add testosterone in any shape or form, you could expect borderline miracles.

*Royals game or tea party is an appropriate time, an impromptu carbload because you had a tough workout, is not.

6) not sure I'm qualified to answer this, but define intensity. You don't need a constant heart rate for 160 for exercise to be considered "intense" in the literal definition. Nor does that kind of exercise reap the greatest benefits WRT muscle building assuming you're letting your diet take the fat off (which would be ideal if you're taking androgens).

IMHO I would imagine you'd want to be doing heavy training with low/moderate training frequency using a slight deficit. Let the partitioning build your muscle and burn up your fat.

DC training or powerlifting would be ideal.

FWIW: I spent years trying to figure out the best way to bulk and cut as it was said it couldn't be done. The best I came up with was a cycle consisting of Test E, Deca and Dbol then I switched out to Winny towards the end. I stayed lean as hell and still got the size I wanted. I had to pay particular attention to diet, I just ate really clean with roughly 400mg protein daily and cut carbs after 3pm or so. It CAN be done, but depending on where you are at with your training, people often opt for the bulk to get the mass, then do a straight cutter. Either way, you win. smile.gif

Well gentlemen, that settles it then. I think it's clear now what the best choice to make would be, and I'm gonna do it!!!
