acid? lol

Yeah, TTA is TetradecylThioacetic Acid, therefore the last word would be 'acid'. mellow.gif

i really don't know, man. It's one of those things. It's a fat that can't be broken down so your liver goes ballistic trying to break it down. There's just something about it. But then again I don't know much about physiology and stuff.

When I took TTA for 4 weeks I noticed no increased fat loss and no increased body heat.

What I did noticed was, everyday my muscles got more and more sore.

By week 4 I could barely walk, every single muscle in my entire body was sore.

Not only were they sore, but they all wanted to cramp too.

Needless to say, I never took TTA again.

I've noticed an increased propensity toward cramping on TTA too. I also sweat like the dickens when I take it. FWIW, the concentration + anti-cramping support ingredients in DCP all but alleviated the negative sides that I saw with Omega Sports Burn3d (TTA supp.)

DCP has a lot less TTA in it that Burn3d does, though. I'm going to be ramping my DCP dosage up soon, should be more telling.

The cramps associated are a combo of MILD muscle breakdown which is worsened by exercise. If someone has shit kidneys to begin with, then it may cause buildup and problems but you could say the same for creatine... You can read up on the recent rosiglitazone controversy and even more so on the failure of Muraglitazar for reasons why you should not dose excessively (Can cause heart issues).

Good points but there is more reason not to use TTA.

Not that the word of Spook should be treated as the unfettered gospel but given his warning against TTA usage I think it should be avoided.I can't recall his exact reasoning but the gist of it was that the body will have a very difficult time expelling TTA and it is a fat that after all so storing such a fat cannot be good.

I have used it highly dosed with good results as far as cutting/fat loss.2x label dosage of LipidFX along with an extra 500-1000mg bulk TTA with 3 meals per day and other runs consisting of DCP + bulk TTa as well as a stint of Burn3D+ bulk TTA and bezafibrate.

FWIW,I seem to have more ytrouble cutting b/f now as opposed to before TTA usage.Correlation,cough,casuation...

Makes sense... but as far as gospel goes, and I mean no disrespect, I'll put my faith in a real MD (uhockey) before anyone with spectacular board credentials... Spook or not.
