My shoulders have been bothering me a bit lately , I´m in PCT and know the drill they should be fine in acouple of weeks.
Add to that an impaired grip from a fist-fight and my normal back exercises are a no-no.
For this reason I have experimented with lat/back movements which doesn´t make my shoulder joints hurt and so far my favorites
are :
1. Facepull - rope attached to the upper pulley of a cable-cross, except I position myself further away from the pulley, lean back and pull to my upper abs rather then neck. Great controlled contraction, very little grip strain and shoulder pain. Not very Westside / hardcore but pretty useful for me.
2. Seated rows, except done with a rope. Same deal - great control no grip strain or shoulder pain.
They feel good but are they any good for building muscle ?
