More like 6...I knew the outcome but it's Russell Crowe....very Clooniesque...same acting, all the time.

It was all so typical - same old story with a new skin. Although, not a bad movie but still sort of "made for TV."

You're all full of shit,it was just about as good a mainstream movie as possible.
Good to see Solution around again, though.

I like how it depicted the wild west as neither 'good' people or 'bad' people, just people with different circumstances.

Entertaining, but not spectacular. Gone Baby Gone is both of these things FYI.

You mean like Unforgiven?
Yeah, except with a lot of out-of-character actions and an overall less effective delivery.

i thought it was overall terrible, and illogical with gaping plot holes

3:10 to Yuma was overly formulaic and cliched imo. Wasn't a bad movie, but wasn't great. Worth watching, but I'll skip the Blu-Ray purchase.
The movies that have come out lately just are meh in general. Meh. Even Season 4 of Lost is sucking dong. BSG 4x01 and 4x02 have been solid though.
Sadly the one recent exception to the "meh" movie trend that I just saw was... Juno. I should be barred from the men's room for saying that, inorite? But I was bored and ran out of other shit to watch, expected very little, and was impressed. Sort of similar humor to "Dead Like Me". My small remaining bit of male pride won't let me actually purchase the movie and informs me I could spend the money on something like... power tools or ammo instead, but it's recommended.

I could watch Christian Bale make a ham and cheese sandwich and be entertained.

If you have any Netflix or Blockbuster, cue
"Secuestro Express". I'm biased because it was made back home (Venezuela), but I was actually impressed. Only downside would be the subtitles, felt they were a few funny moments that got lost in translation because of the street slang.
