I assume,those have a script have't run a biological test..

It seems that this test help diagnose ADHD,thus choosing treatment/medication but not other types of AD/HD such inattentive without hyperactivity,which is not objective,if it is the only choosing diagnosis method..just my observation though.

there is the Conners' Continuous Performance Test. It was shown to yield too many false positive. I really think that until the brain scans become more available, the best indicators are the check lists and clinical history. In the late 90"s when there was widespread upset that too many kids were being medicated, the big NIH study indicated otherwize. While some children may have been inappropriately medicated, the numbers did not reach the expected to be diagnosed.
