LOL, no

I've seen a similar product in Shoppers at the check out many times. It was not gum but I think a lozenge. Anyways it claimed the exact same thing. Never tried it, not their market.

I wonder what it tastes like if it doesn't use mint?

Ditto. Breathalyzers don't measure booze breath. They measure alcohol level in the lungs. That being said, this might be a boon for workday hangover sufferers.

I must be dense then. I believe the gum either masks alcohol so well that police wont smell it on you, which would be the first line of defense against a sobriety check (of course if you're driving like a drunk jackass you're on your own). I also thought that perhaps there's some ingredient in the gum that neutralizes some of the alcohol you're breathing out so when you take the breathalyzer the numbers are skewed. It is called Anti-Police gum.

Now, I'm not going to roll over and play stupid to gimicky marketing by believing them without any reference but I do believe this is what they are trying to sell here.

I liked the one from the teenager that started smoking but doesn't want her parents to find out. Classic!

I agree entirely that that is what they are trying to sell. I also agree you might be able to avoid a Breathalyzer if you don't smell like a distillery. I do not believe that this product can somehow skew Breathalyzer results in your favour.
