by the way, I'm not British, I'm American.. I just like to amuse myself by saying "arse" instead of "ass"
OK, if you're getting bored w/cottage cheese, try mixing it w/mixed nuts or trail mix for a salty taste.
Or if you've already had peanut butter for the day and you wanna keep your fat intake low, you can try Ants on a Log but w/cottage cheese instead of peanut butter.
Another thing I really like is dicing up an orange and throwing it in there. It makes it sweet.

I gave up cottage cheese a while ago and replaced it with part-skim ricotta. It's so much better.

Sounds like a step up. I think I'll wait until I've exhausted all the enjoyment I can get from cottage cheese and THEN try ricotta.. that way I'll have something new to try.

Didn't much care for ricotta personally. I'll stick with cottage cheese, I could eat that for every meal and not get tired of it I believe.
What are ants on a log? I don't believe I've ever heard of this?

Ants on a log is when you fill celery with peanut butter and place raisins in the peanut butter.

Frankly I'm a little bit scared of trying most cottage cheese concoctions I hear of, like protein powder or salt n pepper WTF why mess with a good thing.
That being said the end all and be all cottage cheese mix is fruit cocktail or an equivalent such as pineapple. I can eat this 24/7, hell I even enjoy it more than some deserts.
Don't believe me that this is good, the Chinese eat plain soy mixed with fruit cocktail pretty much the same thing - taste wise.

Cottage cheese
Cocoa powder and/or chocolate PP
Splenda
Stir like your life depends on it
Result: Nice, creamy chocolatey pudding.

No thanks. Think I'll pass and keep with my old way of eating peanut butter...fingering it straight out of the jar.

fingering it. lol. Sounds fun. I just wouldn't be able to know how much I ate.
Another thing I tried the other day was adding diced tangerine and chopped almonds. It was fucking money. What I think will be equally money is adding some chocolate syntha6 to the cottage cheese.
But what is definitely NOT money is mixing it with Cellmass. Eww! But I have a "you made your bed, now you must lie in it" mentality so I forced myself to eat it. There are poor kids in 3rd world countries that don't have supps and probably would have to get up early, milk a cow or a yak for some dairy products so I can't let it go to waste! lol.

I like Ants on a Log less the Ants.

I don't get the cottage cheese concoctions, either. Some of the stuff I read sounds downright scary. Cottage cheese doesn't taste bad, but it doesn't taste good, either. I like to take my serving(s) in about 10 bites as fast as possible. I think the 'extras' would slow me down.

I'm jealous, cottage cheese is like my mortal enemy. I'll eat just about anything and enjoy it, but not that horribly bland, slightly salty, putrescent mess.

Add splenda and this is such a good call, I just tried it and it tastes like french toast!

I tried peanut butter and cottage cheese this evening. The problem may be the fat free cottage cheese I have, but it wasnt terribly tasty. Not doing that again.
