Ive heard you can get really fucked up if you eat HC then suddenly stop. ie Your adrenals shut down. Lets get it out in the open because Ive seen alot of people around here inquiring about how to dose oral HC out of a tube and I think this is very haphazard and not smart without doctor supervision.

Any experts care to step in on this?

It's a risk with consistent use (> 1wk) of strong corticosteroids (Dexamethasone, Prednisone, ..). Hydrocortisone is mild in comparison.

Not to mention, we never recommended daily use of HC, but there's nothing to suggest once a week would cause any problems.
