Today I took and passed the National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer Test. I am now an NSCA CPT--great, a bunch of letters to put before or after your name. 5 Years ago I swore I would never get a cert. Just because most guys that have one are clueless about how to actually train people. I have both the experience and the cert.

Well.......for business and other reasons it now makes sense. I asked SB which cert to take and he said NSCA CPT, He has his NSCA CISC a level above me, and also has the experience to back it. It is world wide recognized certification and they actually require you to know things strength and conditioning related. While most of it does not apply directly to what I do with my trainees, he sure was correct that they require you to know quite a few things. Stressful day, glad it's over with a good outcome 1d6e.jpg
