I voted 50+. I can remember most all of them (not names of course, but things like 'that one skank i fucked in my closet'-type thing). I graduated from high school having only slept w/1 girl. College changed that dramatically Of course to put this into context, I was for several years what I would now call an "independent sales contractor" of various items, which tended to attract a lot of women with low morals. Even when I got clean and sober about 7yrs ago, I found that as I grew to know myself better, and therefore gained more confidence, women were quite easy to manipulate or seduce. I think its really all about how you talk to women and how you present yourself. I am a very sexual person & I believe that I project that. I of course also am well-heeled and well-groomed (which some men tend to lack). Also I am very intelligent, and have a large vocabulary which again lets me talk confidently to women. Finally I am a freak, and of course, when I run into other freaks, I know the things to say which tend to get things into high gear. However there are costs & consequences for deviancy and depravity. I have lost friends (due to fucking their girlfriends). I have lost girlfriends. I almost lost my marriage. So thats it, the good, the bad and the STD's.

Friends of mine require but a hole and heartbeat, whereas I just can't muster the effort if I am not really into the girl -- physically, that is. I have passed over opportunities out of disinterest, which I know some will find insane. (Going through a bit of a drought as we speak, I'll admit it is a little ridiculous.)

If I could vote for close friends they'd register a wide range of tallies: 0,1(HS Sweetheart), 2 (insanely high standards), 4-6, 15+ (alpha) , 25+ (no standards). Those are weakly correlated to looks, surprisingly, which leads me to believe that standards are the most important determinant. Game, looks, and alcohol also factor in.

Same here. I actually had one 6/10 girl grab me up by the shirt and say, "Take me home and fuck me." I lived accross the street from the bar (60' from the door). I resisted, though. I was only on beer #8. If she would have asked me 4 beers later... maybe.

Anyone else find females pretty unworthy of friendship? I mean that in a pure, non-sexual sense. I always fall back to that line from When Harry Met Sally "guys and girls can't be friends, the sex thing always gets in the way." I find a relationship a lot more fun when it's full of flirtation. There's nothing more exciting than being told you'll never hit it, or that she thinks of you as a brother, or you're too big for her taste... Bullshit. I suppose that's the Alpha male in me, but hitting up friends has always been the most fulfilling sex. Random girls are just so....random. Anyone with a bottle of booze and the patience to brave the dance floor can get laid by a random. But to seduce a friend, thats where its at.

This is a reason I am dying to move out of my small-ish town: it feels although the relative pool of attractive, available woman has been completely exhausted. Maintaining friendships has been nearly impossible for my group of male friends -- myself inclusive -- with 1 exception (and he the 4-6er I referred to earlier).

Standards are a tricky thing...I lucked out on my first one (ridiculously hot brazilian) and after that my perception of beauty got fucked.

Alcohol will bring anybody's standards down...but that sure doesn't help...once reality sets in. And also, for some reason I can't figure out I seem to have a skill by which I attract either ugly girls (by my standards, again) or pretty girls 'in a relantionship'...the latter not being quite fun once their guy finds out.
