So my forearm is just a ball o fun. ART takes time, but being out of the gym blows assorted animal phallus. Anyhow, my Dad hooked me up with some Flector Patches to help with my forearm. They are 10X14cm, and contain a total of 180mg of diclofenac epolamine (1.3%). I have been using small 2"X2" squares and taping them to my arm with an ace bandage type sports tape. I switch them out every 12 hours.
This got me thinking about other little goodies that could be delivered transdermally, perhaps someone has already looked into this? It got me wondering what the molecular weight of Cissus was, as well as some other commonly used anti-inflammatory supps. Could some sort of localized delivery system be devised to help treat muscle or tendon injuries? Also, is this a localised administration, or is it going fully systematic? I'm no large fan of NSAIDs, but the pain reduction is pretty damned amazing, not to mention it seems to be right in line with the other tools I've been using to help with my Tendonitis. Thoughts?
